It was a hard choice, choosing between so many good solo artists such as Se7en and Hyori. But I think you guys may have already figured out who my favorite solo artist is and yes, you’re right! It’s my baby boo Jay Park! 

His music is exactly the kind of music I like to listen to. Hot, smouldering, sexy, babymaking kpop songs. Just my cup of tea! Maybe it was a good thing that he left 2PM after all and now don’t get me wrong, i’m a big fan of 2PM! No, but seriously…the idol that is on the top of my “wanna-date” list right now is, as you all may know by now after all my spazzing and fangirling, my sexy man Kris. Not only is he handsome, divinely sexy and has the sweetest smile in the world but the fact that he knows so many languages gets me going too..gaaaah! Day 16: Your favorite k-pop lyric

I suck I know. Haven’t been updating the KPOP challenge for a while now so this post will be pretty long, haha!

About the lyrics, to be honest, I don’t really have a favorite lyric. Some people find the lyrics the most important thing in a song. Me on the other hand, I find the music to be more important in a song rather than the lyrics. I can actually listen to a song and not understand a thing they say and still like it. Probably sounds super weird but it’s been like this since I was young, around the time I started to listen to Korean popmusic. I mean, I didn’t understand a bloody thing they said and yet, I totally loved it! It may sound strange but sometimes, even without listening to the lyrics, I get the emotions the singer is trying to convey so it’s like I almost understand what they’re singing about. Though I do sometimes look up the lyrics and read the translations of it.

Instead of my favorite lyric, I can show you a pretty sweet lyric though. It’s a little bit dirty in it’s own way. You’ll just have to interpret it for yourself and see what you think 😉

Day 15: A k-pop song that turns the partymood up

Huuu, I haven’t been updating as frequently as I’ve been wanting to. There’s just so much going on right now it feels like my head is exploding! It’s going to be nice when I go for a lil vacation on friday with wifey to London. We’re visiting our dear friends Kristian and Xier and it’s going to be so much fun since i’ve never been to London before. So it will mostly be some touristing, musicals and eating since we’re both food monsters.

But anyways, back to the KPOP challenge! Like the babymaking song day, I have so many I want to recommend but it’s only limited to one! I’ve decided to cheat a little and post two songs (sssch) and it’s the two songs that i’ve been dancing and gone crazy about the last few weeks.

The first one is Big Bangs ‘Fantastic Baby’ ! No one can say that they haven’t been brainwashed or gotten affected, even the slightest, with this song and the catchy chorus “Wow, fantastic baby!” . Knew that this song was going to be a dancefloor hit as soon as I heard it!

The second one is Super Junior’s Eunhyuk & Donghaes ‘Oppa oppa’. This song is just so damn catchy you just can’t resist dancing! Eunhyuk and Donghae are really my favorite duo in Super Junior.

Day 14: A k-pop song that makes you smile

The first song that pops up in my mind when I think of a song that makes me smile is the one with Clazziquai called Sweety. Love the song and the group ever since they first came out with their album Instant Pig, released in 2004. The song, combined with the musicvideo, is what I usually put on when i’m in need of some sunshine in my life. It’s so sweet and a total young and handsome Lee Jun Ki in the video doesn’t make it all too bad either, hihi. Anyways, here’s the video.

Day 13: Your alltime favorite k-pop song

Oki, i’ve been so busy with my studies that I haven’t had the time to blog and I just…need…to…make a post before I go back to the books! This time it’s about my alltime favorite kpop song and with no doubt at all I must say Shinhwa with their song Deep Sorrow. I absolutely L-O-V-E this song! Couldn’t stop listening to it when I discovered it sometime around 2003. It’s a very nice R&B track and even though it has like 10 years on it’s neck, this is the kind of song that is still popular nowadays and, I bet, many years to come. It is, and always will be, my alltime favorite song. Check it out below!

Day 12: The very first k-pop song you’ve ever heard

Oh, my first KPOP song…I still remember very well which song it was. It was instant love and it was that song who made me first start listening to KPOP. But at that time it was not easy to come over KPOP as it is today, almost impossible! So that’s why I was totally glued to Pops in Seoul and saved everything I could find on the internet about Korea and KPOP. This was almost…. I think 10 years ago. Can’t believe i’ve actually listened to KPOP for 10 years now. I remember when kids in junior high and high school used to laugh at me because I listened to Korean music. But now, it seems like everyone is listening to KPOP. I guess no one is laughing at me now ay?

Day 11: Your favorite k-pop music video

I’m lying here on my bed, mentally exhausted after all the assignments, essays and quizzes and for the first time in like 2 weeks I have N-O-T-H-I-N-G to do! Or yeah, at least not something that’s urgent, so tonight imma just going to chillax and spazz a bit over some EXO-hotness.

Uhm anywaaaays…I was writing my Korean essay yesterday too and I got so tired from sitting 6 hours straight that I just got this crazy kick and did like 50 squats. And yes, i’m paying for it today. I’ve been so tired and lazy today that I haven’t even eaten dinner yet and it’s already 11.15pm…think i’m just going to make some noodles or something…
